Proteonano™ technology employs proprietary nanobinder reagents comprising hierarchically structured nanoparticles functionalized with AI-guided, chemically optimized peptide ligands. These peptide ligands are immobilized on a single class of nanobinder surface and implemented in a single-bead-type, single-well upstream sample-preparation workflow.
This design creates multivalent binding interfaces that redistribute plasma protein representation through chemically defined ligand–protein interactions, without relying on multiple magnetic particle populations. By preferentially enriching lower-abundance protein populations while reducing the analytical dominance of high-abundance plasma or serum proteins, Proteonano™ workflows can improve LC–MS/MS detection depth, quantitative robustness, and the overall performance of untargeted plasma proteomics.
